Clinical Weight Management Consultations
Prescription weight loss treatment - Tirzepatide and Semaglutide - assessed and dispensed by UK-registered clinicians from a GPhC-registered pharmacy.
What is medical weight loss treatment?
Medical weight loss refers to the use of prescription medicines, under clinical supervision, to support the management of excess weight where it presents a health risk.
At Foundry, we offer two MHRA-approved injectable treatments: Tirzepatide and Semaglutide. Both work by influencing the hormonal signals that regulate appetite and blood sugar. Neither is a substitute for lifestyle change. Both are prescribed only where clinically appropriate, following a full assessment of your medical history.
These are not over-the-counter products. They are prescription-only medicines, dispensed by a GPhC-registered pharmacy and reviewed by a UK-registered prescriber before every order.
Are you eligible?
Foundry follows NICE eligibility guidelines for GLP-1 and dual agonist weight management treatments.
You may be eligible if:
- Your BMI is 30 or above, or
- Your BMI is 27 or above and you have a weight-related health condition - such as type 2 diabetes, hypertension, or obstructive sleep apnoea
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
- You do not have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia type 2 (MEN2)
- You are not currently taking medications that may interact with GLP-1 receptor agonists
Eligibility is confirmed through our clinical consultation process, not by this list alone. If you are unsure, complete the eligibility check and a clinician will assess your suitability.

How a Foundry consultation works
There are no video calls or waiting rooms. The process is conducted entirely online, at a time that suits you.
Step 1 - Eligibility check
A short set of questions to confirm you meet the basic clinical criteria for treatment. This takes approximately three minutes.
Step 2 - Select your treatment and complete your consultation
If the eligibility check indicates you are suitable, you select your treatment and complete a full clinical consultation by email. This covers your medical history, current medications, and relevant health information.
Step 3 - Clinical review
A UK-registered clinician reviews your consultation in full. If there are no clinical concerns, your prescription is issued.
Step 4 - Dispensing and delivery
Your medication is dispensed from our GPhC-registered UK pharmacy and shipped with next-day tracked delivery in discreet packaging. If your clinician has questions before issuing a prescription, they will contact you directly.
Clinical governance and pharmacy registration
Foundry is not an automated platform. Every prescription is reviewed by a human clinician before it is issued.
Our clinical governance is overseen by our Superintendent Pharmacist, Andy Boysan (GPhC registration 2047716), whose registration can be verified directly on the GPhC register.
Our pharmacy premises are registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council. Our clinical protocols meet CQC standards. All medication dispensed by Foundry is MHRA-approved and sourced through licensed UK pharmaceutical supply chains. We do not dispense unlicensed, compounded, or grey-market product.
GPhC pharmacy premises registration: 9012559.
Service fees
Foundry operates two pricing models.
Pay-as-you-go
No commitment. You pay a service fee per dispense, which covers your clinical consultation, prescriber review, dispensing, and delivery.
- Semaglutide (Wegovy): from £89 per month
- Tirzepatide (Mounjaro): from £168 per month
Foundry membership - from £60 per month for medication
An annual membership costs £249. This waives the per-dispense service fee and reduces your monthly medication cost to from £60. For patients on a 12-month or longer treatment programme, membership is the more cost-effective option.
We do not offer the lowest price in the market. We offer consistent stock availability across all doses, human clinical review on every order, and a pharmacy you can contact when you need to.
View full membership pricingWhy stock availability matters
GLP-1 and dual agonist weight loss medicines have experienced significant supply constraints across the UK market since 2023. Many online pharmacies regularly run out of specific doses, forcing patients to either pause treatment or source medication elsewhere - both of which disrupt clinical progress.
Foundry maintains the full dose range for both Tirzepatide (2.5mg to 15mg) and Semaglutide (0.25mg to 2.4mg) through established supplier relationships. If you are mid-titration, you will not be asked to pause because your dose is unavailable.
